How to Qualify

Must identify as female or non-binary

Must a school teacher or an educator at makerspace

Teaching 3D printing and design for more than 1+ years

Must submit a copy of your curriculum

The curriculum must be catered to high school students (9th - 12th grade)

Must agree to share my curriculum online on a website owned by Acorn and Wi3DP
What we are looking for

Tested curriculum which have encouraged students to pursue STEM degrees/jobs after high-school
-
Flexibility in the curriculum to be utilized at schools with and without access to 3D printers

Focuses on design and manufacturing principles

Teaches both the students and the teachers on the workings of 3D printers
Why are we hosting the challenge

Acorn and Wi3DP want to recognize teachers who are paving the path for future STEM Leaders

We want to encourage more students to pursue a career in STEM by removing the barriers curriculum vetting and definition barriers for teachers
